School is in full swing!  All the families I know are now busy with school.

As a child I always loved this year, its a new start.  I kept that idea of "a new start" and still enjoy this re-evaluating time :)  Not to mention all the great back to school sales!

Having your home, your child's room(s), and schedules organized supports them in better concentration, feeling more relaxed, sleeping better, better behavior...  Well the better behavior is not obvious at first.  But when I work with kids to organize their room's they remember the work they put in, and the "design elements" they decided on, this is motivation to them to keep it more tidy.  During our session we talk about habits, and I have them decide on their own most important habit, weather its cleaning up the floor,  making their bed, organizing all their books or guys/Legos/animals...  They recognize how it does matter to them, and they want it to be nice.  And the overall sense of more peace in the home promotes better behavior in your kids.   This eliminates a ton of stress for you!

And for you, when things have a home, its so much easier to just put each thing back in its home, rather that on a pile on the table or floor to deal with later.  More often than not everyone participates in putting things back in their home...**pending that we created a system that truly does work for your family**

Tip: right now is a really great time to go shopping for the home at Target, Home Goods, the Container Store... they have sales, and good quality space saving and/or interesting buys.  This is the best time of year to find the right item for that awkward area in your house.  Thank you college dorms!  I'm not sure why Target has higher quality home items this time of year, but its something that I have noticed....
